In 1978 a wave of UFO related events happened in central Italy. Those facts were so many and so important that the phenomenon involved researchers and journalists from all over the world. Many witnesses, including law enforcement and military personnel were involved. The area is now known as the “Adriatic Triangle”. It is a big portion of central Italy spanning between Ortona,
Ancona and Campo Imperatore. I focused my research on the Campo imperatore zone as it is a place were sightings continue
to be reported. I’ve been interviewing witnesses and collecting original footage and pictures from a local UFO research group.
This project mixes original documents, pictures of the places where the encounters happened and fictional pictures based on the testimonies of the witnesses.
